Lorraine formed in 2025 after four friends started writing songs that were louder, weirder, and more emotional than anything they'd played before. Pulling from mathcore, noise rock, screamo, post-hardcore, and the bands they grew up obsessing over, they never set out to fit into one scene. If an idea felt exciting, they followed it.

Most of Lorraine's music comes from real moments—grief, friendships, growing older, and trying to find humor in things that aren't always funny. Songs are built by throwing ideas at each other until something clicks, whether that's an off-time riff, a noisy breakdown, or a melody that somehow survives all the chaos around it.
