D.I.O. is a Rap/R&B artist born in New Jersey but spent his childhood back and forth from the Bronx to Atlantic City. At an early age, D.I.O. became a huge fan of hip-hop through his aunt Liz. “All she use to play was Eminem, Biggie, Nas, & Fab. I couldn’t believe these guys were that good.” D.I.O. also likes to show his melody and song writing side on R&B tracks. His albums are always mixed with different sounds. “I’m a huge fan of artist that can do more than just rap or sing because managing both at a high level is such a challenge. Drake of course is the greatest at it and opened the door for a lot of artist to just take risk and be themselves.” D.I.O. will continue to grow and show there’s more sounds he has in store.
