Carter Ace has played throughout Southern California, at venues like The Roxy Theatre, Hoodstock Festival, Guitar Merchant, Amplyfi Hollywood, Celebrity Centre, 4th Street Market (Santa Ana), Otis Art College, and many more. Carter Ace has also headline 3 major events in 2015 that were very successful. They are also featured on many blogs that conduct high traffic, such as Hot New Hip Hop. On the site, the band accumulates average ratings of about 90%. In addition, Rude Boy Magazine has released an article outlining the power of the band. Rude Boy Clothing also felt the possible development of Carter Ace, and offered a clothing deal.
Carter Ace released their first EP “The Manhattan Project” on May 22nd, 2015. The album was targeted to have a Jazz & Soul feeling infused with the Hip Hop. From the album, their song “Wake Up” never fails to connect with the fans at live performances. As the EP grew, exposer to “Optimism” picked up. Afterwards, racking up high ratings from different blogs across the internet. With the uproar in ratings, another track called “Don’t Waste My Time” lead as their number one hit off of the project. Since the release of Manhattan Project, the guys have had fan favor, all the way up to release of the next record “Project Gemini: Castor & Pollux” on January 1st, 2015. The EP brought a whole new style to the music business, with versatile instrumentals comprised of styles drawn from the golden years of Hip Hop. These styles produced their top songs “Ma-Dah” and “That Door” with the EP still hitting airwaves.
Being one of the most unique in the Band, Carter is amazing and filled with dreams that he aspires to make reality.
